Recent Highlights

There has been a lot of B. Taylor news lately. For those who may not have caught all of it, we’ve listed some highlights below:

B. Taylor with President Obama at the Classic Carrier Basketball Event

Grammy Nominee Consideration and #1 Billboard Hot RnB/Hiphop Charts single ” Fire In Your Eyes’ feat: NCIS Star Actress Pauley Perrette

1.  B. Taylor was selected as the “First Hip Hop Artist” ever by the Secretary of the Navy “Honorable Ray Mabus”, Chief of Naval Operations Admiral Greenert, Chief of Naval Information Admiral Moniyhan and approved by the White House to sing the National Anthem for President Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama at the first ever ESPN Televised basketball game onboard a United States Aircraft Carrier, the USS Carl Vinson.  This is historic as it is the same ship that captured Osama Bin Laden, and this Historical Event took place on Veteran’s Day(11-11-11).  Rough Shot Video of Event

2.  B.Taylor attended the University of Missouri(Big 12) where he played college basketball and football.  Also a U.S. Navy vet, he played on the All Navy Basketball Team and The Team Military USA Basketball Team. B.Taylor participated in the ESPN State Farm Half Time Shootout after singing the National Anthem.  B.Taylor also won the State Farm Shootout on 11-11-11. Video

Special Note :  President and Mrs. Obama support B.Taylor’s music career in what he has done with the Motown Legends, The Country Cash Family, Youth Music Education and his dedication to the Joining Forces Initiative Military USO organization.

5.  B. Taylor receives an Honorary Resolution Award from the Illinois House of Representatives and State Legislative recognizing his accomplishments from High School up till the Historical Veteran’s Day 11-11-11 ESPN Event with President Obama and Mrs.Obama.  The Illinois Governor office notified the White House and a copy of this Illinois State Resolution Honorarium was sent to President Obama.  House of Representatives Resolution
